Ratko Mladic is suffering from pneumonia, he is dehydrated, can’t drink any water, refuses to (or can’t) eat anything, and his weight has dropped to only 56kg (123 pounds), according to Banja Luka daily Nezavisne, citing information given by Mladic’s lawyer Branko Lukic.
Survivors of the Srebrenica Genocide — mothers and sisters of 8,100 systematically murdered boys and men — held a peaceful monthly meeting to commemorate Srebrenica in Tuzla yesterday (11th of each month). They stated they wish Ratko Mladic to stay in good health so he could live to see his conviction for genocide.
This blog also wishes Ratko Mladic to get well soon. We need you Ratko to stay alive so we can convict you. Please stay strong, we will pray for you. You will be convicted. The justice will be served.
To the ICTY: If Mladic continues to refuse food and water, he should be forcibly fed so his life can be saved. It is important to keep him alive until he becomes officially convicted for the Bosnian Genocide. His indictment includes charges for the Bosnian Genocide (including genocide in Kotor Varos, Prijedor, Srebrenica, and several other municipalities).
